I agree with your opinions on outsourcing and the detrimental effects that it has. However, how do you counter all the CEOs (Oracle, Sun, AutoDesk, Microsoft, etc.) who say that they need to outsource to be more efficient/ptrofitable and that they can't pass up the deal (Indian programmers are 20% of the cost of American, or so they say). Do you believe software developers should unionize? I haven't seen that unions stop the outsourcing of manufacturing jobs.

"he only cares about his pocketbook and those of hit fat cat friends. Period."

Really? Period? That's ALL he cares about? Hmmmm . . . doesn't seem that way to me.

Ah, this post goes on the next blog item about Bush.

How are his policies helping the average American? Two a day are dying in Baghdad to support a baseless war. While we have almost stopped the hunt for the genuine terrorists.

As for his domestic policies. Let me see, his Forestry policy is a direct sell-out to logging companies. His energy policy directly benefits his family and friends. His distribution of the Iraq reconstruction contracts directly benefits his friends. His non-pursuit of the Enron criminals is a direct outgrowth of his families relationship with that company. The list goes on and on.

The only socially policies that I can think of that you could argue were for the benefit of the masses. For example the drug policy. Are rife with cronyism and a sell out to big business.

This President put his office on the auction block the day he arrived and hasn't stopped for breath since. Reagan and Bush Sr. were choir boys in comparison.

And his elected officials, like his judge appointees and particularly Ashcroft. My god. That man is a second cousin of the devil himself.
