Every once and awhile I stop by and read your blogs, but today was especially sad for me. I am so sorry about Ripley. Although we never met, I know how much I love my dogs, honestly as much as my children. I can't imagine how your hearts must ache, but as the saying goes "Its better to have loved and lost than to never have loved". I'm sure that wasn't written in reference to pets, but I feel it's justified. Be strong....
Thanks for the kind words Joni. I think you hit it right on. I would much rather have had what time I had with Ripley than to never known her.
