Mission to Mars in jeopardy

It appears that Bush's mission to Mars is in financial danger. So much for my side plan of installing a CB on the dashboard of the shuttle and sending up someone like Pat Robertson to report back to the south; "The earth is round... Ten four."

Seriously, we are supposed to teach this crap in schools? So if we put God into the debate about where we came from. Do we then apply it to other parts of science as well? Because biblical theologians say that the Earth is 6,000 years old does that mean the we have to bend carbon dating to match that twisted version of reality? At what point does it end?
