Coulter and Hitler

Wow, it's really tough seperating Ann Coulter from Adolf Hitler just on the quotes. I only got ten of the fourteen right.

I got eleven right. Although, I do credit symantics for most of the correct guesses. They both despise(d) liberals - that's obvious. Good thing we can laugh at Ann and not salute her.

I only got 9 right

you go ahead and laugh all you want Jacqueline - i for one don't find her brand of "humor" funny - its just plain offensive.

Yeah, I've never been able to understand how saying that the 9/11 widows enjoyed their husbands deaths was 'humor'. Perhaps you could explain that, Jacqueline. What is funny about that?

"The Christian religion, for example, frowns on lying and premarital sex. That is simply a fact about Christianity. This does not mean no Christian has ever lied or had premarital sex. Indeed, some Christians have committed murder, adultery, thievery, gluttony. That does not mean there's no such thing as Christianity any more than videotape of Rep. William Jefferson accepting cash bribes means there's no such thing as congressional ethics rules."

That's a quote from one of her last articles and it made me chuckle. Not out loud, but I thought it was a good point and I thought it was funny.

I don't know for sure, but I would guess she's not trying to be funny with her points about the 9/11 widows. And I've already conceded that she's mean.

I actually don't see what's funny about that quote. And I have a good sense of humor, so I think it's just not funny. There is no comedy in that comedy.

But I think you are missing the salient point. Even you couldn't distinguish between what Coulter says, and what Hitler says. So either Hitler was a comedian, or Coulter shares the views of Hitler. Your choice.

I found the mixture of self-deprication along with the zinging example of Leftist hypocricy entertaining.

I did look back through some of your posts to find your sense of humor. I found a cartoon that had something to do with Jesus and Sponge Bob, and a link to a "Love Is. . . " site with kinky sexual jokes and references to selling children. Not my brand of humor - but humor is subjective.

And I did concede in my first comment that both Hitler and Coulter obviously share a disdain for liberals.

Can't we all just get along? Why are you constantly tearing people down?

Posted by: Jacqueline at June 28, 2006 12:26 PM

All just get along? No not really. I care about this country too much to see it flushed down the toilet bowl of history by the looney right wing, led by pill-popping drug addicts, hate and war mongers.

For example, were it not for the left we would still be talking about 'staying the course' in Iraq. We have turned it around and now are talking about exit strategies. And were it not for the left we likely would have already nuked Iran.

Mind you, it's not easy plotting a personal course at odds with the government and sticking to it. I've been called traitor, been accused of aiding and abetting the enemy, and my family has been threatened by cowards who remain anonymous.

So, no. If 'getting along' means following whatever insane agenda is presented by the right. Then I think you know my answer to that.
