Snakes on a Plane

I was wary but excited about 'Snakes on a Plane'. Especially given the fact that the movie wasn't screened for critics, which is always a really bad sign. But apparently not this time, I checked Rottentomatoes this morning expecting to see 20% and instead see 81%. Wow. I was going to see it either way, but now I'm really looking forward to it.

So it was that bad, huh? Even with your keen eye for "so bad it's good" cinema?

In my opinion, it was too gross to be fun and too stupid to be scary.
At least it had SLJ, who would be cool reading the phone book.

So, rental or big screen, in your opinion?

Rental, I think. If you are high.

Although, I guess there is some value to being a part of the hype and seeing it in the theatre just to say you did.

I'm such a square. I haven't seen a movie stoned since Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. I even saw Half Baked straight.

Well, I was going to see it on Monday with Joe. But we didn't sync up, and that blew my free time for the week. If it's around next week I'll give it another try. Otherwise I'll wait for my video store.
