Let me try and work out McCain's position here; more wars, more tax money on the wars, more tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, more social regulation which will incur even more costs which we won't be able to pay for, and no support for people who lose their jobs. Yeah, good luck with that.
BTW, on a related note, this years budget from Bush includes a 30% increase in the pentagon spending and that doesn't include the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. The money will be spent on traditional large hardware expenditures like submarines, destroyers, tanks, etc. Explain to me again how buying submarines helps us fight Al Qaeda?
