The War: An Economic Nightmare

Even according to the government's own "up front" costs the Iraq War costs us $5 billion a month. And this economic bail-out is going to cost us $12 billion. So for two and a half months worth of Iraq we are supposedly fixing our economy. So how does borrowing $5 billion from the Chinese and throwing it down the Iraqi rat hole not hurt our economy? Of course it does! The question is no longer about 'winning' or 'losing', not that it ever was. The question is now about whether we can afford to continue the war without tanking our economy.
