I didn't know the Bay Area was even competing for tallest building in the world. But it appears that we will be with the Eye In The Sky in Oakland. Construction is slated to begin in 2010. Really? They have the permits and such ready to go? I find that kinda hard to believe. What does the insurance scenario look like for such a thing?
Odds this will actually happen: 1 in 100. My guess. I mean, honestly, how do you even construct such a thing?
