Turns out, crime does pay, really well. You just have to do it on a incredible large scale. For example, show up to the national treasury with vans and have them loads billions of dollars in pallets of shrink wrapped cash onto your trucks. Then load that onto army transport plains and send it to Baghdad where you unload it an give it to your cronies to launder. As it turns out, that won't even be a news story, in the U.S. at least, only the BBC will cover it.
It's sad. What do you call the guy who steals $100? The prisoner is cell block C3. What do you call the guy who steals billions? Mr. President.
