Chaney not all bad

I'm relieved to hear that Dick Chaney is supporting his gay daughter and not the ignorant hatred of W.

You know, I haven't heard any of the candidates say they are FOR same-sex marriage. It even says in the article you referenced that Kerry and Edwards are both against it.

The majority of Americans aren't for same-sex marriage, either. But they are for affording the same legal protection for gay couples. I see Civil Unions in our future, which is optimistic. On the other hand, I see years and years of controversy and debate, as we have with the abortion issue.
