Glad i'm not in South Florida

My thoughts are with all Floridians today.

Andrew back in 1992 was enough hurricane for one life time. I hope Katrina doesn't upsize before she slams into Florida!

Change, that, glad you don't live in southern Louisiana or Mississippi, huh?

Have some good family friends who live in Hammond--just north of New Orleans above the bend and they high tailed it out yesterday early. One family just moved into a newly built house a few months ago--they are just sick right now.

Absolutely. I'm glued to cnn right now and am so glad I'll have sunny skys. course the earth might be shaking.

It was me and Jack newly wed by 2 months, Michael, his dog tugger, our cat Usul along with Pam and Barbara who both had gotten to UM early.

Ahhhh - Pam! I saw that and thought, "That's one of their friends in SF..." I was confused. Then I remembered her. How could I forget? Amazingly, she was pushed so far back in my memory files that I did...

Anyway - that must've been a terrifying and bonding experience for you all. I was in front of my tv in Poplar Bluff, watching the coverage all night, worried about you guys.
