Bechamel Sauce

  • 2 Tbl. Butter
  • 2 Tbl. Flour
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

1. Heat the milk in the saucepan, but not quite to the boiling point.

2. Melt the butter in a separate saucepan, but do NOT brown. Add the flour and stir wiuth a wuire whisk.

3. While stirring vigorously, add the hot milk ALL AT ONCE. Mixture will thickens when it boils.

4. Simmer for 5 minutes, add seasonings and set aside.
